Make an offsite backup

1. Log in to Toolkit as a Package Manager. - or - You can log in as an Account Manager. Once you've logged in, select the domain name from the Account Overview page. |

3. On the Offsite backups page, select the service you want to backup. If you want to receive an email notice at the completion of the backup, select the Send me an email when it's done option, and then enter your email address in the Email address field. When you're finished, click the Make a Backup button. |
The backup process can usually be finished within one hour. When the backup is ready, you can download it from the Offsite backups page.
Note that if the backup file is larger than 500 MB, you can't download it from the Offsite backup page. You'll need to download it from the backup folder in your FTP home directory. To do this, you'll need to log in to ftp://upload.ilisys.com.au by using an FTP client (such as FileZilla). Once you've logged in, open the backup folder, and then download the file to your local computer.
FAQ
Can I re-download the backup files if I lost the original copies?
Yes, you can. All the backup files are stored in your FTP account until you manually delete them. Each backup file has a date in its file name. You can re-download your backup files whenever you want. Note that your backup files are counted as part of your FTP storage usage.
