Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) represents security online. It's an important element for online shops or websites that store sensitive information. With the protection of the SSL, the information on the web page is encrypted when travelling through the Internet.
Ilisys supports two types of SSLs - Shared SSL and Dedicated SSL. The following table compares the Shared SSL with the Dedicated SSL in different aspects.

Purchase the certificate from the certificate vendor first. Then contact us with the copy of the certificate and the private key |

Note: When we apply the certificate on your behalf, GeoTrust will send a confirm email to the nominated email address. We usually set up the email address as admin@your-domain.com for you and use it to track the confirm email from GeoTrust. If you want to use your personal email address, you need to inform us when you receive the confirmation email from GeoTrust.
